Strangely enough, Miranda, I get your point. To us PR students big time bloggers and individuals in the social media space are like celebrities. When someone comments on my blog who I have heard of and respect, I get an immediate rush of excitement. One can build their own fame using social media, at least to other PR professionals anyways.
